Varudu took the box-office by storm on the first day. On the release day, the film collected Rs.7.28 Crores, a highest in Allu Arjun’s career and one of the biggest ever gross in Telugu film history. Allu Arjun seemed happy and he thanked the fans, audiences, and media for supporting him and patronizing the film. In a press statement, he said that the collections are really encouraging.
